B. LES OPCVM DANS LE MARCHÉ TOTAL DE LA RETRAITE

On a déjà remarqué que les fonds d'investissement vendent souvent des services de gestion de portefeuille aux fonds de pension et aux assureurs. Mais les fonds d'investissement interviennent directement dans le marché retraite. Selon les informations qui sont disponibles, on peut en effet mesurer la présence des OPCVM dans le marché retraite en compte propre.

Hormis leur rôle de gestionnaires de portefeuille pour des assureurs et des fonds de pension, les OPCVM géraient 21.1% des encours pension fin 2001.
